The plantar fascia is a large ligament that runs from heel to forefoot, acting as a shock absorber and providing stability to the joints of the foot. Plantar fasciitis is a painful condition affecting the attachment of the plantar fascia underneath the heel bone, causing degeneration and in some cases inflammation.
Teachers are prone to suffering from plantar fasciitis as they spend so much time standing and moving on hard surfaces. To prevent and reduce painful symptoms for good, we’ve put years of clinical podiatry practice to work by developing shoes that pass the comfort and style test with flying colours.
