As a brand, and a family, we’re starting over. Rethinking how we do things, hatching fresh ideas and setting goals to help create a more sustainable future from the ground up. From our head quarters to stores to our suppliers, we’re working together to do better. It’s going to take time but we want to keep you in the loop by sharing some exciting initiatives and budding new plans on our journey to creating a cleaner world for all.
Every time you order from FRANKiE4 you can feel good knowing that our shoeboxes, stuffing paper, cardboard sticks and printed wrap are made from recyclable materials— and are all 100% recyclable.
Save Our Soles
We’re partnering with Save Our Soles to recycle any, and all well-loved shoes; send your old solemates on their sustainable journey, to become safe, springy mats at kids’ playgrounds and gym floors. Drop them into the boxes at our Australian stores, and let us take care of the rest! We love the thought, that our amazing materials and layers of cushioning jam-packed into FRANKiE4 shoes, can be successfully repurposed once again for comfort.
We’ll recycle them for you! Simply bring your footbeds into one of our Australian stores, or get in touch at email@example.com, and we’ll send you a return slip so you can pop them back into the post ... it's that easy!
With the inclusion of anti-mould stickers within our shoe boxes, the use of LWG gold and silver-rated leathers, and more sustainable materials being utilised in our Spring/Summer range, our commitments to a healthier planet will continue to be shared.
We’re exploring ways to use recycled plastic to create new fabrics for our shoes.
We’re working to save energy and drastically reduce waste in our stores, office and factories. At our office and factories we recycle printing paper, cartons and boxes. While our supplier recycles unused trims, leathers and soles. Sample trims are melted down to make new trims. Leathers are re-finished and re-used, and unwanted soles are repurposed.
